An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Six-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 81" x 81") (Learn More) Professor Beware, the 1938 Elliott Nugent Egypt archaeology chase slapstick comedy ("He's back in a merry riot of fun!"; "Based on a Story by Crampton Harris, Francis M. and Marian B. Cockrell"; Lloyd is an archaeologist who gets a bunch of Egyptian artifacts, and ends up in a cross-country chase from Los Angeles to New York) starring Harold Lloyd, Phyllis Welch, Raymond Walburn, Lionel Stander, William Frawley, Thurston Hall, Cora Witherspoon, Sterling Holloway, Mary Lou Lender, Etienne Girardot, Clara Blandick, and Elaine Shepard NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This six-sheet was printed in 4 sections. Condition: fine. The poster was clearly never used. The two smaller pieces of the poster are in quite nice condition with separation at one crossfold and minor creases along the foldlines. The larger piece of the poster that includes the bottom right of the image has separation at three of the six crossfolds and 6" of separation at the end of one foldline, and some tiny tears on that same foldline. The other large piece of the poster (the one with the bottom left of the image), which was on the outside of the poster when it was completely folded has separation at most of the crossfolds and separation, tears, and three small areas of paper loss in the right end of the foldline that goes through the word "PROFESSOR". The above defects are truly minor for a six-sheet that is over 65 years old, and the poster has likely survived in as good condition as one could possibly imagine. It is completely unrestored, without any tape or pinholes anywhere! After a simple linenbacking, this poster would look fantastic! Learn More about condition grades
