Publicity on her in the 1940s said that she was born and brought up in Wuchang, China, and spoke no English until she returned to the U.S. as a young girl (that was slightly stretching the truth, because she was born in the U.S., but her parents moved to China soon after, and they left China when the Communists took over)! She is best remembered as Alice Kramden from TV's "The Honeymooners". Some of her movies include: Rosie, Take Her She's Mine, and That Touch of Mink. She passed away in 1996 at the age of 73. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Audrey Meadows! Our consignor obtained this autograph through the mail when he had correspondence with Miss Meadows in 1985. Condition: very good to fine. This REPRODUCTION is in very nice condition!
