An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Printer's Test One-Sheet Movie Poster (28" x 41") (Learn More) Doty-Dayton's Where the Red Fern Grows, the classic 1974 Norman Tokar boy-and-his-dogs hunting Red Bone coon hound canine melodrama ("Glory and victory were theirs, but sadness waited too! And close by was the strange and wonderful power that's only found... 'Where the Red Fern Grows'."; "A Classic In Our Time"; "A True Story"; "Based on the book by Wilson Rawls") starring James Whitmore, Jack Ging, Lonny Chapman, Stewart Peterson (billed as "Introducing Stewart Peterson as Billy Coleman"), and Beverly Garland NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a very rare uncut printer's test! Before a poster was printed in large quantities, the printer would print a limited number of posters as "test" posters. Commonly, they would leave the color chart on the left edge of the poster, which added an extra inch to the width of the poster (which explains why the poster measures 28" x 41"). These printer's tests would then be shown to the various people in a position to "OK" them, and once they were completely approved, the printer would print the full print run of the posters. Not only is a printer's test far more rare than a regular poster, but it is also 100% genuine, there is no fear of purchasing a reproduction! Condition: fine. Learn More about condition grades
