Important Added Info: Note that this poster is undated, but we are certain it is from the first Japanese release of this classic movie in 1952. We have previously auctioned a Japanese poster from the 1958 re-release, and this poster clearly predates that, and it has the RKO logo (and the writing on it, translated into English, does not in any way refer to a re-release). It certainly is a wonderful poster, and we have never auctioned it before! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was tri-folded only, and it had very minor wear on the folds. There were a few tiny bits of paper loss in the blank borders, with slight darkening in the edges of the blank borders. There were two tiny brown stains in the background area to the left of the title. Other than the above, the poster was in really nice condition prior to linenbacking, with really bright colors.
