An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More)

Universal's Western Featurettes, the circa 1920s glass slide ("There's a thrill a minute") promoting Universal silent cowboy western shorts, and featuring art of a cowboy on a horse. We would think this refers to shorts made in the 1920s, but we have never seen this terminology applied to any Universal movie, so that is only a guess. If anyone knows more about this glass slide, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
