An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Flapper, the 1920 Alan Crosland silent romantic adventure comedy ("By Frances Marion"; produced by Lewis J. Selznick) starring Olive Thomas, Warren Cook, Theodore Westman Jr., Katherine Johnston, Arthur Housman, and Norma Shearer (only 18 years old, uncredited in her second role as a schoolgirl!). Note that this movie was star Olive Thomas' third to last movie, and she died soon after (ironically, it was her life as a "flapper girl" that contributed to her death, and she played that character in this movie.) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good. It appears that someone put new black tape over the original black tape. Otherwise, the slide is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
