An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (pb; measures 8 1/2" x 14" [22 x 36 cm]; 11 pages) (Learn More) Pick Up on 101, the 1972 John Florea AIP bad girl hitchhiker thriller ("Anybody's Back Seat will do so long as he's going her way."; "We're both on the Bum, Baby - only I know where I want to go!"; with a classic poster image) starring Jack Albertson, Lesley Ann Warren (billed as "Lesley Warren"), Martin Sheen, Earl Brown, and Robert Donner. Note that Martin Sheen made this movie after he recreated his Broadway success in 1968's "The Subject Was Roses" (and after his film debut the previous year in "The Incident"). Obviously, film offers were not that great for Mr. Sheen that he took this movie! However, two movies later, he made "Badlands", which made him a major young star, and that was the end of his appearing in grade-Z movies. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of the pressbook, plus an image of a two-page spread from inside of the pressbook (we do NOT picture any supplements or heralds, if there are any included with this pressbook), and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Also note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners purchased pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut! Condition: very good to fine, NO CUTS. Learn More about condition grades
