Bernard Charoy is a French artist from the 1940s to the present. Between 1960 and 1974 he worked as an illustrator for both French and international magazines. Political portraits of De Gaulle, Churchill and Mao are featured among his work, but he is best-known for his landscape paintings as well as for his paintings of women. As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 90!
