An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Style B Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) Sons of Adventure, the 1948 Yakima Canutt cowboy western (about the lives of Hollywood stuntmen; "Drama of Hollywood Stunt Men"; "The story of Hollywood's stunt-men") starring Lynne Roberts, Russell Hayden (billed as "Russ Hayden"), Gordon Jones, Grant Withers, John Newland, and Stephanie Bachelor. Note that director Yakima Canutt was one of Hollywood's top stuntmen for decades, and then he became its top "second unit director" (the person in charge of filming action sequences), so he certainly knew all there was to know about the subject matter of this movie! Some pre-1970 half-sheet posters were folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 half-sheet posters (note that most post-1970 half-sheets were NOT folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those half-sheets). Condition: fair to good. Someone taped a large paper sign on the back for another movie.
