An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked British Quad Movie Poster (BQ; Quad Crown; measures 24 1/4" x 26 3/4" [62 x 68 cm]) (Learn More) Yellow Submarine, the 1968 George Dunning English/U.S. rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) music psychedelic animated surrealism fantasy cartoon musical ("Nothing is real!"; "It's all in the mind y'know! - Paul McCartney"; "It's all in the mind y'know! - George Harrison"; "Eleven Beatle Songs"; "A dozen Beatle songs"; "The forces of Good!"; "The forces of Evil!"; "Based upon a song by John Lennon and Paul McCartney"; "From an original story by Lee Minoff") "starring Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", featuring the music of The Beatles (John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr) and the voices of The Beatles, Paul Angelis, John Clive, and Dick Emery NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this partially English movie! It was oddly double billed in the U.K. together with the movie "Attack on the Iron Coast", and instead of the usual British quad double bill, where each movie got half of the poster, this poster gave two-thirds to Yellow Submarine (rightly so!), and one-third to the second movie (it now measures 24 1/4" x 26 3/4" [62 x 68 cm]). The person who owned this poster trimmed off the right one-third that advertised the second movie, and we can certainly see why he did so. That person also trimmed off the top and bottom of the poster, right up to the edge of the image and lettering, and the United Artists logo at bottom right was cut in half (see our image). The right one-third of the poster, which advertised another movie, was trimmed off (see above), and also, the top and bottom of the poster, right up to the edge of the image and lettering, and the United Artists logo at bottom right was cut in half. Otherwise, the poster had tiny paper loss at the original crossfolds, minor wear on the foldlines, and some faint smudges and scuffs scattered in the image. This poster certainly has an unusual defect, so do not bid on it unless you have read the above carefully and have looked at our super-sized image. Learn More about condition grades
