An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) The Biscuit Eater, the 1940 Stuart Heisler boy-and-his-beloved-dog juvenile melodrama ("A picture as human and heart-filling as the love of a boy for a dog! - from James Street's beloved Saturday Evening Post story!"; "Based on a Story by James Street") starring Billy Lee, Cordell Hickman (he was a black African American child actor who started at the very end of the Our Gang series, and he made a few more film appearances before he retired, likely due to adolescence), Helene Millard, Richard Lane, Lester Matthews, Fred 'Snowflake' Toones (billed as "Snowflake"), Viola Davis, and Tiverton Invader (as Promise, the dog!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. There are some smudges in the bottom blank play dates area, but otherwise, the slide is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
