Important Added Info: Note that the back of these cards were overprinted with a solid rectangular pattern. This was commonly done in the 1950s so that old lobby cards could be re-used as "frames" for 8x10 stills. These ARE original lobby cards. Also note that this movie was originally in 3-D. The studios created both 3D lobby cards and 2D lobby cards (the 2-D posters were for theaters that lacked the 3-D equipment). This set of lobby cards are from the "2-D" release. Note that for the 2-D release, they simply replaced the 3D logo at top left with the word "THRILL!" on each card! Condition: good. After the cards were overprinted with a pattern on the back, a theater owner cut diagonal slits in seven of the cards, so that a still could be inserted from the back of each card. They then taped the front of the cards in each corner over the slit, so that the tape would hold the stills in place. The tape is long gone, but seven of the cards have diagonal slits in the corners of the image with tape stains above and below the slits. Please do not bid on these cards unless you can accept this very significant defect. Note that the card with the close up of the man holding the girl's neck does not have diagonal slits or tape stains, but has staple holes in each corner. Learn More about condition grades
