An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian One-Panel (known in Italy as a "2 Fogli") Movie Poster (1p; measures 39" x 55" [99 x 140 cm]) (Learn More)

Kri Kri Imita Pegoud (released in England as "Bloomer Loops the Loop"), the 1914 Raymond Dandy Italian silent military slapstick comedy short starring Raymond Dandy (in the title role as Kri Kri). Note that Romeo Marchetti (who created the Italian art for Kri Kri films) was well known in the first half of the 20th century, and he founded and contributed to multiple satirical magazines and newspapers. The Societa Italiana Cines (often known simply as Cines) was an Italian film company specializing in production and distribution of films which was founded in 1906.
Artist: Romeo Marchetti
Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned an example of this poster (which is a "country of origin" poster for this Italian movie) or ANY other movie paper for this title before! This is an extremely rare Italian poster from long before World War II! Virtually no Italian posters survive from before World War II since apparently there were many paper shortages in Europe during World War II, resulting in the destruction of almost all posters from before and World War II, and also from during the war, and the first few years afterwards.

Condition: good. The poster has substantial discoloration scattered in various areas (especially around the edges which also have some creases, tears of varying lengths, and areas of paper loss - see our image). The folds have darkened. After proper restoration the ultra rare poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
