An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Edge of Darkness, the 1943 Lewis Milestone Norway World War II (WWII) patriotic military action melodrama ("Warner Bros. presents another mighty production to leave your heart pounding with pride and emotion."; "Based on the novel by William Woods"; one of several movies that celebrated the admirable Norwegian resistance to Nazi occupation; in this one, the movie opens with a deserted Norwegian village that is filled with dead bodies of villagers and Nazis, and then, in flashback, the story is told of how that came to be) starring Errol Flynn, Ann Sheridan, Walter Huston, Nancy Coleman, Helmut Dantine, Judith Anderson, Ruth Gordon, Roman Bohnen, Art Smith, Francis Pierlot, Morris Carnovsky, Richard Fraser, Henry Brandon, and Henry Rowland NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. There are creases in the left and right of the top border, and creases in the upper right border, and someone put masking tape on the back of those areas. There is a 1 1/2" tear in the left of the bottom border and a tiny tear in the lower right blank border that were also repaired with masking tape from the back. There are some faint brown stains in the bottom left of the card, extending into the "NE" of "DARKNESS" in the title, and a thin brown vertical stain in the blue background to the right of "DARKNESS".
