An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) One Splendid Hour, the 1929 Burton King silent mistaken identity medical doctor romantic melodrama ("A tense thrilling drama of daring youth"; "With an all star supporting cast"; about a socialite who goes "slumming" at a cafe on the wrong side of town, and she meets a dedicated doctor, and the two are arrested during a brawl and end up in court together!) starring Viola Dana, George Periolat, Allan Simpson, Lewis Sargent, and Jack Richardson. Note that IMDB says that Cliff Wheeler was the director and Burton King was the producer. However, the title lobby card says that King is the director. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair to good. The entire card has darkened somewhat. It has tack holes, smudges, and small stains around the edges. There are many stains and smudges scattered in the image. This is the sort of card that responds really well to professional restoration. It is likely that much or all of the smudges and stains can be removed through chemical means, and of course, most of the pinholes are in the blank borders, and after proper restoration, the card will display well. Please look closely at our images of the front and back of this card before bidding. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
