An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Her Gilded Cage, the 1922 Sam Wood silent romantic mistaken identity stage acting melodrama ("From the play by Anne Nichols"; about a French stage actress whose press agent gives her a notorious past, so that she will be more appealing to fans, but then her straight-laced fiance believes the stories and breaks up with her, but everything works out in the end!) starring Gloria Swanson, David Powell, Anne Cornwall, Charles Stevenson, Walter Hiers, and Harrison Ford (not the same Harrison Ford that we know as an actor today, but a very popular leading man of the 1920s). Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Condition: good to very good. The still was glued to an album page, and when it was removed, it left paper remnants and glue stains on the back of those areas.
