If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this special Italian poster, which measures 26 1/2" x 38 3/4" [67 x 98 cm], is a poster we have never seen before. It solely has wonderful dead body silhouette art with the title and Preminger's credit, and an artist's name in the lower right border. It is printed in a "dayglo" fashion, with the title in fluorescent orange (see our image). We can't say for certain if it is from the first release of this movie in Italy (if it is, it would seem to surely be a "teaser" poster), or possibly it is from an early re-release, but we lean strongly towards first release, especially because we are separately auctioning a similar poster for "From Here To Eternity", which is by the same artist and is also "dayglo", and that one has a Columbia logo. But please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept the uncertainty as to when it is from. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster is separating on both folds and there are tiny bits of surface paper loss in the right half of the horizontal fold and some tiny tears in the left half of the horizontal fold and in the vertical fold. The poster is fragile on the folds, but after linenbacking or paperbacking, it will look fantastic, and only require a small amount of paint restoration. There is some clear tape on the back of parts of the folds where there were separations, but the poster has had no other restoration. Learn More about condition grades
