The Walt Disney company created "War Bonds" which, although they were not true bonds themselves, were given by banks and war finance committees to those who bought actual U.S. Treasury War Bonds. Note that this poster features an image of an infant and a war bond with artwork of Walt Disney cartoon characters, which included: the Seven Dwarfs, Bambi, Pluto, Goofy, Donald Duck, Pinocchio, Mickey Mouse, and more! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had fairly minor fold wear. It had some creases and tears in the bottom right. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
