An Autographed 3" x 5" Index Card with 8" x 10" REPRO Still (Learn More) Sally Field was born in 1946. What a varied career she has had! In the 1960s, she was Gidget and The Flying Nun on TV. In the 1970s she starred with boyfriend Burt Reynolds in Smokey and the Bandit. In 1979, when everyone thought they knew her well, she re-invented herself in the role of Norma Rae (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), and five years later she starred in Places in the Heart, and we discovered how much we really liked her, when she took her second Best Actress Academy Award. Some of her other movies include: Mrs. Doubtfire, Lincoln (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and Forrest Gump (she oddly played Tom Hanks mother after having been his love interest in Punchline). She has also returned to her TV roots with a recurring role in TV's "ER", and had a lead role in TV's "Brothers and Sisters". As of 2021, she is still alive at the age of 74! Important Added Info: Note that this index card has been personally autographed (signed) by Sally Field. Also included is a 8" x 10" REPRO still that the index card could be matted and framed together with! Also note that this lot comes with a "certificate of authenticity" that states the signature is guaranteed authentic. Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who purchased the collection of a dedicated collector, who was a major film buff from the 1950s through the 1990s. He would purchase stills on stars he liked, and then he would go to events or collectibles shows (he went to virtually every collectibles show where stars appeared!), and he would get the items autographed, and many of his photos were personalized to him with nice inscriptions, because over time many of the celebrities who regularly attended shows came to be friends with him! Over many years he was able to acquire a large number of signed stills, and his collection was purchased by our consignor. In this set of auctions we are auctioning the last of his autographed items (and we auctioned others in past "all signed" auctions). We feel certain that the autographs on these items are authentic!
