An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style A One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Air Hawks, the 1935 Albert S. Rogell aviation airplane fantasy melodrama ("Death flames in the skies when the 'murder beam' strikes!") starring Ralph Bellamy, Wiley Post (real-life world champion aviator who died shortly after this movie in the plane crash that also claimed the life of Will Rogers), Tala Birell, Douglass Dumbrille, and Robert Allen NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that items from this film are extremely rare, and we have only auctioned two items (a Czech poster and an 8x10 still) in our entire history! Condition: poor to fair. The poster was exposed to moisture while it was folded, and there is slight discoloration, deterioration and paper loss at the crossfolds (especially the lower crossfold which affects the art of Bellamy). The poster is in urgent need of restoration, and certainly a competent restorer could repair the defects described above, but please bear in mind the cost of restoration before placing a bid.
