Note that when Republic released this movie they used an ad campaign saying that "You'll find a new Roy Rogers... more likeable in a role that fits his personality like a glove...". We are not really sure what was not so "likeable" about the OLD Roy Rogers! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned two examples in all our years of auctioning and the last time was 13 years ago! Note also that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 26 1/4" x 40" [67 x 102 cm]. Also note that this poster has been kraftbacked, which means it was backed onto a brown paper soon after it was printed (this process is called "kraft-backing", and posters with it are called "kraft-backed"). One could have it professionally removed from the kraft paper and linenbacked, and it would look great! Condition: fair to good. The poster was kraftbacked (see above). It has pinholes, creases, tears and other defects that can be clearly seen in our super-sized image around the edges (some of which were caused after the poster was backed). It has been slightly trimmed. It has complete separation of the right half of the lower horizontal fold and some other fold separation. After proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it. Learn More about condition grades
