Original Vintage Theatrical Australian Movie Herald (measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"; 4 pages) (Learn More) Son of Frankenstein, the classic 1939 Rowland V. Lee Universal monster horror thriller sequel ("Mysterious! Weird! Horrifying!"; "The greatest fear figures in screen history... all in Universal's New cavalcade of horror!"; the third Universal "Frankenstein" movie) starring Basil Rathbone (in the title role as the original Dr. Frankenstein's son), Boris Karloff (in the title role as the Frankenstein monster), Bela Lugosi (as Ygor), Lionel Atwill, Josephine Hutchinson, and Donnie Dunagan (as Peter von Frankenstein) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that Australian heralds are very similar to U.S. heralds (usually a single sheet folded in half to create 4 "pages"). The main difference is that they usually have somewhat different or completely different art from U.S. heralds, they have an Australian ratings, and they often have Australian theater information on the back page. Australian heralds are rare, especially from classic movies, and are rarely offered for sale! Condition: fair. the herald was folded both horizontally and vertically and there are many other creases throughout all four pages; there is a 1" tear in the bottom right of the "third" page; there are small tears and tiny paper loss around all pages; there are water stains on the back where the theater information is and there is some bleed through of that staining in the top of the third page.
