She was first a singer and then a stage actress, which led to her appearing in Hollywood movies in the 1940s, but then she quit the movies and moved to England. Some of her movies include: Two Wise Maids, The Shining Future, The Desert Song, The Doughgirls, and Escape in the Desert. She passed away in 2004 at the age of 91.
