An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Keep Your Powder Dry, the 1945 Edward Buzzell World War II (WWII) females-in-the-military WAC (Women's Army Corps) romantic melodrama ("Three women in a man's world") starring Lana Turner, Laraine Day, Susan Peters, Agnes Moorehead, Bill Johnson, Natalie Schafer, Lee Patrick, Jess Barker, June Lockhart, Marta Linden, Tim Murdock, and Henry O'Neill. Note that this was a pretty standard World War II Home Front melodrama about the trials and tribulations faced by women in the Army, but MGM knew they had three glamorous young women, and they wisely sold the movie based on their sex appeal. Also note that this movie was filmed right before Susan Peters' tragic accident (a gun accidentally discharged during a duck hunt, and she was shot, becoming paralyzed from the waist down), but it was not released until afterward.

Important Added Info: Note that the movie is called "There Were Three of Us" on the back of this still, which was the working title for this movie! Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock.

Condition: very good to fine.
