An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" (8x10) Movie Still (Learn More) Journal of a Crime, the 1932 William Keighley romantic adultery crime murder thriller (about the wife of a famous playwright who learns he is in love with the star of his latest play and is planning to divorce her, and she shoots the mistress with her husband's gun, but through a series of unlikely circumstances, she gets away with her crime!) starring Ruth Chatterton, Adolphe Menjou, Claire Dodd, George Barbier, and Douglass Dumbrille. Note that this movie is notable as one of the very last "pre-Code" movies, and in the movie, Chatterton literally "gets away with murder", and one did not see that again in the movies for many years! Note that this was a remake of a French movie made just one year earlier, "Une vie perdue". NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good to fine.
