He was always in demand in Hollywood, for any part that called for an Englishman! Some of his movies include: Alexander Hamilton (as George Washington!), My Man Godfrey, The King and I, The Man Who Knew Too Much, and Topper. He passed away in 1969 at the age of 72. Important Added Info: Note that this canceled check has been personally autographed (signed) on the back by Alan Mowbray! Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic.
