An Original 1960 (from the first release of this movie in Italy) Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Italian Two-Panel (known in Italy as a "4 Fogli") Movie Poster (2p; measures 55" x 78" [140 x 198 cm]) (Learn More) Blondin I Fara (released in the U.S. as "Blonde in Bondage"), the 1957 Robert Brandt Swedish bad girl drugs crime thriller ("You'll gasp... At her hellbent way of living!"; "In the spotlight she teased... In the shadows she collected her paycheck in shame!"; "Her body screamed for the thing she hated"; about an American reporter doing a story on Swedish nightlife who gets involved with a drug-addicted nightclub singer) starring Anita Thallaug, Mark Miller, Ruth Johansson, Lars Ekborg, and Erik Strandmark. Note that this Swedish movie was released in the U.S., but apparently very briefly as a solo release, because we have never seen a one-sheet from that solo release (and possibly there was no solo release). It was released as the bottom half of a double bill with "The Flesh is Weak". NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Sandro Symeoni Important Added Info: Note that the U.S. posters for this movie show a sexy blonde, but not that sexy! For its Italian release, Sandro Symeoni created wild art of a sexy blonde staring at a man holding a hypodermic needle filled with drugs (likely heroin)! Note that it is difficult to accurately date Italian posters, and some unmarked re-release posters can be extremely difficult to distinguish from first releases, so please bear that in mind before you place a bid. We used our best information to date this poster, but we can't always guarantee that the Italian posters we sell are not from an unmarked re-release, but this will only prove to be true in a very tiny number of cases. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good.
