She almost exclusively appeared in B-movies, and perhaps her biggest claim to fame was that she was billed over Marilyn Monroe in Ladies of the Chorus in 1948! Some of her movies include: Jane Eyre, The Gang's All Here, Show Boat, Armored Car Robbery, and Radar Secret Service. She was married to Glenn Langan from 1951 until he passed away in 1991. Adele passed away in 2002 at the age of 84. Important Added Info: Note that these stills all feature a specific actor or actress (sometimes portraits, but often in a scene from a movie that they were in). They come from the collection of Ken Jones, who was an author of many books about old-time actors, including many character actors.
