MGM was founded in 1924 when Marcus Loew bought Metro Pictures, Goldwyn Pictures Corporation, and Louis B. Mayer Pictures. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this Japanese calendar, which includes wonderful stars, including Jacqueline Bisset, Claudia Cardinale, Raquel Welch, Samantha Eggar, Twiggy, Britt Ekland, and Catherine Deneuve, a pretty amazing lineup! In addition, the image of Margaret Markov shows her breast, which is something that would never have been done had this calendar been made by MGM in the U.S. in 1972 (and we have censored that image with a white bar, but that white bar is not on the actual calendar)! Note: We have 13 images of this calendar, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 13 images are displayed above. However, there is a "supersize" link to the right of those images that lets you see the other 3. Condition: good.
