(released in the U.S. in 1966 as "Sandra"), the 1965 Luchino Visconti French/Italian romantic marriage relationship melodrama ("Sandra is excitement! What Sandra does... Is astonishing!"; "Sandra has a husband. Sandra has a brother. Sandra loves one of them much too much."; "SANDRA... Haunted... Passionate... Brooding... Tortured... Her Life Is Conflict... Her Love Is Forbidden!"; about a beautiful Italian woman and her American husband, and his meeting her brother, and learning of the disturbing secret the brother and sister share) starring Claudia Cardinale (in the title role as Sandra Dawson), Jean Sorel, Michael Craig, Renzo Ricci, Fred Williams, Amalia Troiani, Marie Bell (billed as "and the participation of Marie Bell"), Vittorio Manfrino, and Renato Moretti NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this Italian movie! Also note that this Italian one-panel measures approximately 39" x 55" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some creases, tears, smudges, and very tiny areas of paper loss on some foldlines. There was a diagonal 2" tear in the background area to the right of the hand at the bottom center of the image. There were pinholes, creases, and some tiny tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
