An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81" [104 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) The Creeper, the 1948 Jean Yarbrough mad scientist monster horror thriller ("From an original story idea by Don Martin"; about a pair of mad scientists who find a serum in the West Indies that can change people into cats, and they use it on unwilling human guinea pigs, or "guinea cats"!) starring Eduardo Ciannelli, Onslow Stevens, June Vincent, Ralph Morgan, Janis Wilson, and John Baragrey. Note that this movie was produced by Universal Pictures in 1946, but there was a shake up in the studio at that time, and they briefly abandoned low-budget horror movies, and so this movie "sat on a shelf" for two years, before it was picked up by 20th Century Fox and released in 1948. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this three-sheet, but only one of those examples was complete, so this is only the second time we have auctioned a complete example of this three-sheet! Also note that this three-sheet was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap. Condition: good. The poster is fragile on the folds and there is some darkening on the back of the part of the poster that was on the outside when it was fully folded. There are some creases and several tears along the folds that were on the outside when the poster was fully folded.
