Il Paese Dei Campanelli (released in English-speaking countries as "The Country of the Campanelli"), the 1954 Jean Boyer French/Italian romantic melodrama starring Sophia Loren, Carlo Dapporto, Mario Riva, Alda Mangini, and Achille Togliani. Note that this is one of the many movies Sophia Loren made before she became a major star (when she did become a major star, just a year later, this movie was re-released in Italy).

Note that this item (and others we are auctioning in this set of auctions) come to us from the estate of Lee Sanders. Mr. Sanders was a nationally recognized projectionist, film poster collector, and union activist who passed away last year, and the net proceeds from the sale of his varied and eclectic collection will be donated to promote film studies at the Besant School of Happy Valley in Ojai, Ca.
