An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Charlton Heston (born John Charles Carter) was a major leading actor from the 1950s to the 2000s. He is best remembered for his starring roles in the two great 1950 religious epics Ben-Hur (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film) and The Ten Commandments, as well as scores of other movies including: Touch of Evil, Planet of the Apes, Hamlet, The Big Country, Tombstone, Three Musketeers, Soylent Green, Julius Caesar, and El Cid. Late in his life, he became head of the NRA, promoting gun rights. He passed away in 2008 at the age of 84. He had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, and died from pneumonia. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Charlton Heston! Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Note that this signed item was consigned to us from the personal collection of Johnny Crawford, who first came to fame as the son in the TV series "The Rifleman" and later became a band leader loved movies, and early on he collected many movie stills and more! He did not have a certificate of authenticity, but we think it is incredibly likely that the autograph is authentic. Condition: good to very good. This deluxe still was lightly water stained in the bottom, more so in the lower right corner below the autograph. It has slightly creased and rippled the bottom of the still, but it is only very slightly noticeable from the front. Learn More about condition grades
