Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More) Now I'll Tell by Mrs. Arnold Rothstein, the 1934 Edwin J. Burke romantic love triangle gambling biographical melodrama starring Spencer Tracy, Helen Twelvetrees, Alice Faye, Robert Geckler, and Hobart Cavanaugh. Note that this movie was loosely based on the life of real life major gambler-turned-gangster, Arnold Rothstein, perhaps best remembered for having "fixed" the 1919 baseball World Series. Rothstein lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in a poker game, and then accused those in the game with him of cheating him, and refused to pay them. He famously said, "They can't collect from a dead man", but he failed to realize that once they realized he was never going to pay, they had nothing to lose by killing him, and they did! After his death, his wife, Inez Norton, wrote a book called "Now I'll Tell", which purported to tell the "true story" of Rothstein's life and death, and she was billed as "Mrs. Arnold Rothstein". Hollywood saw a good thing in the book, and Fox bought the rights, with their top male star Spencer Tracy playing the Rothstein character, and Inez Norton had a cameo role in the movie!
