An Original Vintage Theatrical 10 1/4" x 13" [26 x 33 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Grete Natzler (also known as "Della Lind") was an Austrian opera singer who appeared in movies from the 1920s to the 1930s. She made some Austrian movies and then some in Germany and England in the early 1930s. She came to the U.S. in 1937, where she was signed by MGM and renamed "Della Lind", and it was intended that she would be in "Rosalie", but she did not appear in that movie, and the only U.S. movie she made was "Swiss Miss", with Laurel & Hardy, after which she retired from movies. She was only 32, and she spent the rest of her life as a potter, so there seems that there must be more to the story! She passed away in 1999 at the age of 92. If anyone knows more about her, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 10 1/4" x 13" [26 x 33 cm], but it has not been trimmed.
