RKO had ceased to exist at the time this movie was finally released, and Universal probably re-used old printing plates, and put their logo at the bottom, covering over the old one which explains why materials on this movie have both studios printed on them! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this Italian poster, which has a completely different image of John Wayne and disrobing Janet Leigh with fighter planes overhead! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of some folds. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. After the poster was backed, it acquired a fine scratch mark in Wayne's chin going to his jacket. Any restorer could touch up that area without re-backing the poster, but bear this in mind before bidding. Learn More about condition grades
