She served as the 40th mayor for Chicago from 1979 to 1983, and was instrumental in diversifying the school district by fiting the first African American and female school superintendent. She also was involved in a controversial ban on registering new handguns in the city AND Ralph Axelrod was a Chicago politician from the 1980s (at least). He was an alderman and undersheriff who at one point was poisoned by arsenic! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
