An Original Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Vulcano (released in many English-speaking countries as "Volcano" in 1951, but not released in the U.S. until 1953), the 1950 William Dieterle Italian tropical island disaster thriller ("Untamed! Unashamed! Raw and Violent!"; "Lave Hot with Fury, Power, Passions!"; "nothing can match its Raw Virile Violence"; "Isle of Passions!"; "Its men untamed! Its women unashamed! Its emotions raw and violent!") starring Anna Magnani (billed as "Fiery Anna Magnani"), Rossano Brazzi, Geraldine Brooks, Eduardo Ciannelli, and Enzo Staiola. Note that this movie was released by Pathe in an English language version in 1951 (and posters from that release were used internationally), but the movie was not released in the U.S. until 1953 by United Artists (and we consider material from that release to be from the actual 1953 first U.S. release of this movie.) There are faint smudges, scuffs, and staple holes scattered throughout the card.
