What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster has minor wear on the folds and in the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. At some point after it was backed, it was slightly roughly handled, and the top and bottom horizontal folds have now somewhat "returned", in that there are slight creases along those areas (see our image), but this could be greatly lessened simply by storing the poster flat for a while. Also, there are creases in the excess linen down the left and right of the poster, but they have no effect on the poster itself, which is in really nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
