The Night of Nights, the 1939 Lewis Milestone New York City Broadway theater stage acting family relationship father-daughter melodrama ("Original screen play by Donald Ogden Stewart"; about a washed up Broadway producer, whose long estranged daughter finds him and convinces him to try to climb his way back to the top, and by golly, he does!) starring Pat O'Brien, Olympe Bradna, Roland Young, Reginald Gardiner, and George E. Stone

Important Added Info: Note that there is a printed snipe on the back of the still, describing the scene on the front (it describes the movie and the girl who is on a diving board at the Beverly Hills Hotel, and refers to the movie as "Happy Ending"; this was a working title for the movie that ended up being released as "Night of Nights").
