An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Japanese Movie Poster (measures 20" x 28 1/2") (Learn More) Jag Ar Nyfiken - en Film I Gult (released in the U.S. in 1969 as "I Am Curious Yellow"), the 1967 Vilgot Sjoman Swedish sexploitation melodrama ("A film of extraordinary daring") starring Lena Nyman, Vilgot Sjoman, Peter Lindgren, Marie Goranzon, Borje Ahlstedt, Chris Wahlstrom, Magnus Nilsson, and Ulla Lyttkens. Note that this movie was banned from entering the United States, and then was allowed to be shown after a court case. The banning concerned a graphic sex scene, but actually the movie was not a "sex movie", but rather an interesting pseudo-documentary, using elements of cinema verite, and is an important movie of the 1960s. But thanks to the publicity over the court case (and the way it was subsequently marketed in the United States) it will be forever remembered as an early "sex movie", even though it was not! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fine. This poster was linenbacked and during the backing process, its extremely minor defects were repaired and it now looks really great! We only assigned this grade ("fine or better") to posters that were in really excellent condition prior to linenbacking, AND which were linenbacked by a top professional!
