An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41") (Learn More) The Chance of a Lifetime, the 1943 William Castle (with his directorial debut) Massachusetts detective mystery crime thriller ("Boston Blackie beats a murder rap!"; "A thrill-packed adventure teeming with laughs and romance.") starring Chester Morris ("as 'Boston Blackie'"), Erik Rolf, Jeanne Bates, Richard Lane, George E. Stone, and Douglas Fowley. Note that this is one of fourteen movies made in the 1940s with Chester Morris playing the fictional character "Boston Blackie", a former crook turned detective (there had been ten silent movies made in the 1920s), all of which were based on short stories by Jack Boyle. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had very minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable.
