An Original Vintage Unfolded Special Poster (measures 24" x 36 1/4" [61 x 92 cm]) (Learn More)

Distinguished Service Award/Award of Merit, the circa 1940s poster ("Name your candidate for the Distinguished Service Award or the Award of Merit"; "Distinguished Service Award for Unusual Courage or Valor"; "Award of Merit For Outstanding and Unusually Meritorious Service"; "Award Recommendation forms may be obtained from Distinguished Service Award Committee Chanin Building") urging the submittal of award candidates from American Airlines staff that had served in World War II. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that this poster is printed on a much heavier than normal paper stock (we don't know why, but it is nice!).

Condition: good to very good. There are some scuff marks throughout the poster and there are a few 1 1/2" and smaller tears around the edges.
