Artist: Saul Bass Important Added Info: Note that this lot contains the January 30, 1961 issue of Variety magazine and the July 9, 1960 issue of Motion Picture Herald magazine, and we have provided a picture of the front covers and the interior pages of both issues that have the Saul Bass ads (note the "Designed by Saul Bass" on the Motion Picture Herald trade ad), but of course, the rest of the issues have much interesting information and ads for other movies of that time. Also note that this is one of eight lots that contain ultra rare exhibitor magazines with Saul Bass art ads. These magazines are exceptionally scarce, especially the ones that have ads with Saul Bass art! Finally, note that the issue of Variety has a mailing address label that has Peter Lawford's name and address, so we imagine this was his personal copy! Condition: very good.
