An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded International One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Billy Jack, the classic 1971 Tom Laughlin (billed as "T.C. Frank") Arizona Native American Indian Hapkido kung fu martial arts peace-making revenge action thriller ("You've got: Due process, Mother's Day, supermarkets, the FBI, Medicare, air conditioning, AT&T, a 2-car garage, Congress, country clubs, state troopers, the Constitution, color television, and democracy. They've got Billy Jack"; "When you need him, he's always there!"; "'Show me one place where people really love one another and I'll never harm another human being as long as I live.'") starring Tom Laughlin (in the title role as Billy Jack), Delores Taylor, Clark Howat, Victor Izay, Julie Webb, Debbie Schock, and Teresa Kelly (real life daughter of Tom Laughlin and Dolores Taylor, who plays the pregnant girl!). Note that this film had a complicated distribution. It was originally going to be distributed by AIP, but they pulled out and filming was stopped. Then 20th Century Fox took over and filming was completed but Fox decided to not distribute it and finally Warner Bros. became the distributor. Artist: Piero Ermanno Iaia Important Added Info: Note that this international poster has a completely different (and far superior!) image to that of the regular domestic U.S. posters for this classic cult movie! Also note that this poster was stamped "FOREIGN" which means it was printed for use outside the United States (there would also have been posters stamped "DOMESTIC" for use within the United States). Often, the "FOREIGN" posters would have a different (sometimes racier) image than that for the one used in the United States. Note that this is one of 188 folded one-sheets in this Part IV of eMoviePoster.com's December Major Auction that were consigned to us by legendary French dealer/collector Dominique Besson (we auctioned 993 of his folded one-sheets in Part I of this auction, and we auctioned his 113 unfolded one-sheets in Part III, and now we are auctioning his final 188 folded one-sheets in this Part IV). Dominique Besson started collecting movie posters in 1981, and became a dealer in French and European posters in 1994, and has remained as a top dealer ever since! But in addition, 30 years ago, Dominique began collecting U.S. one-sheets, first those with Saul Bass art, and then adding Alfred Hitchcock posters, then Humphrey Bogart, and he finally ended up collecting in an amazing total of 47 different categories, purchasing the posters from all over the world! Now the time has come to sell this wonderful collection, and Dominique has chosen eMoviePoster.com to do so, through our auctions! After Part IV closes, we will have auctioned all of this collection. Condition: good to very good. There is a jagged 3" tear at lower left. There are some creases scattered in various areas. Learn More about condition grades
