An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (pb; measures 11" x 17"; 14 pages) (Learn More) The Black Bird, the 1975 David Giler slapstick crime comedy ("Why is everyone after George Segal's bird?"; "Because he's Sam Spade, Jr. ...and his falcon's worth a fortune!"; a parody of "The Maltese Falcon"; "It's a Falcon Funny Movie!"; about the son of a famous detective who carries on the family tradition of getting involved with the Maltese Falcon, and with the people who will stop at nothing, including murder, to get it.) starring George Segal (as "Sam Spade Jr."), Stephane Audran, Lionel Stander, Lee Patrick, Felix Silla, Signe Hasso, and Elisha Cook Jr. Note that Lee Patrick and Elisha Cook Jr. had major roles in the classic 1941 movie, The Maltese Falcon, which this movie parodies!
