Cues for murder - excitement - suspense!"; "A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing!"; "Based on a story by Charles Bennett and D.B. Wyndham Lewis"; "Screenplay by John Michael Hayes") starring James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart), Doris Day, Brenda De Banzie, Bernard Miles, Ralph Truman, Daniel Gelin, Reggie Nalder, Richard Wattis, Alexis Bobrinskoy, and Christopher Olsen. Note that this is a re-make of Hitchcock's 1934 English film of the same name, but with quite a few differences and it includes Doris Day singing "Que Sera, Sera", which became a huge hit! The poster had many creases, tears, smudges, and stains around the edges, with some creases and scuffs scattered in the image. It was lightly partially folded at one time. The poster was reused during a 1963 re-release and there is a 1963 re-release NSS number stamped in the extreme top left corner. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects, and there was damage in the NSS number at lower right, and the restorer incorrectly restored it to "56/133" when it should read "56/183".
