Secret Agent (released in France as "Agent Secret"), the 1936 Alfred Hitchcock English World War I (WWI) romantic spy espionage suspense thriller ("Directed by Alfred Hitchcock, of 'The 39 Steps' fame"; "A lady-killer.. charming and fascinating. And a killer... ruthless and merciless. Burning a flaming trail of mystery, intrigue and romance... among the gay capitals of Europe"; "Based on the novel 'Ashenden' by W. Somerset Maugham"; "From the play by Campbell Dixon"; about an English spy in World War I who is stationed in Switzerland to try to capture a notorious German spy, and he is aided by a beautiful woman posing as his wife, and by a mysterious assassin, played by Peter Lorre) starring Madeleine Carroll, Peter Lorre, John Gielgud, Robert Young, Percy Marmont, Florence Kahn ("as Mrs. Max Beerbohm"), Charles Carson, and Lilli Palmer

Important Added Info: Note that this still has two punch holes in the top border, so it could be a key book still, or someone could have just put those punch holes there.

Condition: fair to good. There are two punch holes in the top border (see above). There are many tiny scuffs and indentations scattered in the center of the still, including in Lorre's face, but they are mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light. There is a 1 1/2" tear in the upper right border that was repaired with tape from the back. See our super-sized images to get a good sense of the condition of this still.
