An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" (8x10) Movie Still (Learn More) Fig Leaves, the 1926 Howard Hawks silent romantic screwball comedy ("Modern Eve revolts against love without luxury"; a parody of the Adam & Eve story, with a husband and wife having their lives wrecked by a friend of the wife who acts as the serpent, leading her to temptation; interestingly, the movie opens with a fantasy sequence of the man and wife portraying the actual Adam & Eve, complete with dinosaurs and a real serpent!) starring George O'Brien, Olive Borden, Phyllis Haver, George Beranger, and William Austin. Note that this was the second movie that Howard Hawks ever directed (and since the first one is a lost film, it is his earliest surviving movie, and it has a sequence in Technicolor!), and of course, he would go on to one of the most illustrious directing careers ever!
