Women Love Diamonds, the 1927 Edmund Goulding (who also wrote the story) silent romantic family relationship melodrama (about a beautiful young woman raised by a man she believes to be her uncle, and she is engaged to a millionaire, but then her uncle reveals that she was illegitimate at birth, and that ends the marriage, and she ends up involved with a chauffeur whose wife is killed in a car crash, and everything works out in the end) starring Pauline Starke, Owen Moore, Lionel Barrymore, Cissy Fitzgerald, Gwen Lee, and Douglas Fairbanks Jr. (17 years old!)
